Nowadays Katy Perry is bent on partying hard. Her divorce from former husband Russell Brand has left her devastated. She is now trying to get over the blues by partying until the wee hours of early morning.

The singer of such hit singles such as ‘I kissed a girl’ and ‘Firework’ split from her former partner in December of 2011 after staying together for 14 months. Two days ago she was spotted partying with friends including both men and women and she stayed out until 3:00 am in the morning. According to a source, Katy was partying with a bunch of her friends at the Spare Room at Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles. She arrived at around 1:30 am and wore a grey sweatshirt and a pair of sweatpants with blue pumps.

She was accompanied by a number of male friends who played several games of bowling. The group drank mixed vodka drinks and enjoyed themselves to the fullest. The Spare Room at Roosevelt Hotel normally shuts down at around 2:00 am in the morning. However, on this special day it remained open to cater to Katy and her friends.

The source also added that from the looks of it she definitely liked to hang out and have a carefree time with her friends without bothering about too much attention from crowds of admiring fans. The security at the hotel premises left at around 2:15 am. However Katy and her pals stayed behind and continued with their merriment.

On the other hand, Russell Brand is presently staying in Los Angeles and is rumored to spend some time with artist and model Oriela Medellin Amieiro. Sources report that the British comedian is returning to his womanizing ways he was known for before he hooked up with Katy.

Singer Katy Perry, who recently broke up with Russell Brand, will come along in a brand new PC game called ‘The Sims 3 Showtime’. The game will be launched in March. In the game, fans will be able to act as Katy. They will also get handful Katy Perry-themed goodies.

Electronic Arts Inc. announced the start of an exclusive and extensive creative partnership between Katy Perry and one of the most popular gaming series The Sims.

Worldwide Executive of Music for Electronic Arts Steve Schnur stated that this day notes the beginning of the most exciting and integrated collaboration with any artist in The Sims’ history. Perry has been a lover of The Sims for many tears and her Simlish recording of her number ‘Hot and Cold’ sported in the The Sims(TM) 2 series rapidly turned to be the most popular Simlish music video to date.

EA is reasonably excited to work with Perry add her style, personality and talents to the franchise’s worldwide fans. Perry seems to be their first choice as no other performer may fit in the fun and humor of The Sims brand. The game really does justice to the imagination that Katy Perry adds to her music videos, performances and life.

Katy stated that she would love how one will be able to run down different stories through the Sims character by handing them different careers and observing them succeed. Perry will also act closely with The Sims Studio to make hairstyles, clothing, props, furniture and accessories so that the players feel as real Perry. She will also be taking part in marketing and advertising campaigns for the brand.
